This website is owned and operated by YOOVY Ltd, also known as YOOVY ("We"). We are a registered limited company in England and Wales with the company number 14878984 and VAT number 443080225.

1.1 Yoovy, its logo and ‘All Eyes on Yoo’  are UK trademarks of Yoovy Ltd. Our packaging is a registered UK design. Use of our logo/mark or infringement of our registered design is prohibited without prior written consent by Yoovy Ltd.

2. Access to the Website
2.1. You are granted temporary access to the Site, and we reserve the right to modify or withdraw our services without prior notice. We are not liable if the Site is unavailable at any time.

2.2. By using the services provided on the Site, including ordering prescription spectacles, you confirm that:  

2.2.1. You are above 16 years old and not registered as blind or partially sighted.

2.2.2. You have had an eye test in the last 2 years (12 months if over 70) by a qualified optician and have submitted accurate details to the Site as required.

2.3. Any user identification code, password, or other security information provided to you must be kept confidential. We reserve the right to disable any such information if there is a breach of these terms.

2.4. When using the Site, you must abide by our acceptable use policy.

2.5. You are responsible for ensuring access to the Site and ensuring that others using your internet connection comply with these terms.

3. Products Overview

3.1. Product images are for illustrative purposes, and while we strive for accuracy, colours may vary on different displays.

3.2. Products displayed on the Site are subject to availability.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1. Intellectual Property Rights refer to copyright, trademarks, trade names, and other related rights. We own or hold licenses to all such rights on the Site.

5. Ordering from the Site

5.2. Orders involve selecting a frame as per instructions, providing prescription details, and using the Shopify platform for processing.

5.3. Additional information may be requested for specific orders.

5.4. Orders may be rejected at our discretion.

5.5. Orders will be fulfilled and dispatched post-compliance.

6. Order Placement, Pricing, and Payment 

6.1. Products are for personal use and should not be for commercial resale.

6.2. Prices are quoted in GBP and inclusive of VAT and delivery. 

6.3. Orders are subject to acceptance and may be rejected for various reasons.

6.4. Prices and availability are subject to change, with notifications sent before order confirmation.

6.5. Order acknowledgement is not acceptance; confirmation of dispatch is.

6.6. Failure to supply products may lead to order cancellation.

6.7. Customers must provide accurate payment details and accept communication regarding their order.

6.8. Currency denominated payment disputes will be handled by card issuers.

6.9. Invoicing may be electronic.

7. Delivery and Returns

7.1. Timely delivery efforts will be made, with no strict deadlines.

7.2. Lost or damaged products may be replaced or refunded at our discretion.

7.3. Shipping is limited to valid addresses with changing destination availability.

7.4. Title transfer upon full payment.

7.5. Cancellation and Return Policy within 30 days of delivery, with specific conditions.

7.6. Return costs for international orders are the customer's responsibility.

7.7. International refunds exclude outbound shipping.

9. Product Warranty
Products should conform to description, be free of defects, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose.

9.3. Defective product warranty claims must be made and assessed according to the policy.

9.4. 30-day guarantee for non-compliance post-receipt.

9.5. Legal rights in addition to warranty claims.

22. Essilor Lens Warranty

22.1. Lenses are covered by a one year manufacturing warranty. The warranty covers damage to the lens surface where the manufacturing coating claims have failed in which case the manufacturer accepts there is a manufacturing defect in the lens itself and not caused by fair wear & tear during use of the lens by the user. 

22.2. All warranty claims must be assessed by the manufacturer (Essilor) therefore we would ask if your order is outside of the 30 day returns period you email us and we will send details for the return which is made at cost to you, after which we will inspect the lenses for manufacturing defects and advise next steps which could be replacement or the eyewear will be returned to you in the event the defect is rejected.

22.3. The warranty period will not reset after a claim. 

22.4. The replacement lens must be identical to the initial lens. It’s not possible to change the product, prescription, or PDs. 

22.5. There is no option for credit as an alternative.
